How is your week going on?? Enjoying I guess!! So, this post is in response to the Why I Write Blog-fest held by kayeleen's creative corner. The concept is simple,tell one good a reason, why you write!! Ha!!
Well, I think this is easy. Everyone faced this question earlier. Sometimes we had awesome answers, sometimes we hid be "coz I want to"!! Well, my answer is awesome and kind of excuse too!!
I write coz I want to. I see that, when I write a book / article / poem , people read it and appreciate it. It feels good to be appreciated. It feels awesome! When, people see my characters rising over daily trifles, they co-relate to these characters and may find some hope to rise!! Books keep the dreams of children alive,give hope to teenagers and re-create the fantasy in adults!! So I write. Authors become immortal too!! I write for this reason too!! What are your reasons?? Let me know!!

Immortality certainly is a grand reason to write. :-)

I like the reasons you write.
ReplyDeleteI write for many reason. The latest one being that I have a grandson who request that I write so I have been doing this for him. But it has helped me a lot as well.

You are so right when you say that people can co-relate to characters in your story . Every work of fiction contains a grain of reality in some form or the other !
