Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone is having nice time. Well, Now is the time for the second campaign challenge of Rach Writes.
The Challenge is:
Write a blog post in 200 words or less, excluding the title. It can be in any format, whether flash fiction, non-fiction, humorous blog musings, poem, etc. The blog post should:
- include the word "imago" in the title
- include the following 4 random words: "miasma," "lacuna," "oscitate," "synchronicity,"
If you want to give yourself an added challenge (optional and included in the word count), make reference to a mirror in your post.
For those who want an even greater challenge (optional), make your post 200 words EXACTLY!

"Why shouldn't I?" she questioned
"There is no similarity between us. We are now distant” shouted back Jean, already burdened by thoughts of breakup going on in her head again and again I dunno where everything went wrong.
“Its lacuna? Nope. Not between us.” said John, making no effort to convince Jean.
“You stop using your fucking language skills with me. They make no sense.” I still remember how interesting this game was in the beginning. It makes me cry now.
Thanks to John for the constant need of dictionary, she thought, searching for the word Masima“This conversation is not getting us anywhere. I feel like Oscitating” replied John yawning
“I fucking hate you and this is the end. I got to move-on now.” My mom's place would be right thought Jean
“Your Imago? You are becoming matured? Interesting” said John, looking at his dick & thinking about ways of getting into Jean again.
"Yeah!! MY Imago!! Damn you" Shouted back a visible angry Jean, walking out of the room checking how messed up her hair is, using a hand held mirror.

I think I would have bashed John's head in with my cast iron skillet long ago...
You definitely conveyed emotion! ;)
Nothing worse than someone showing off how much more than you they think they know!
Curious conversation there. Makes me wonder what went on between these two characters to be so riled up.
Nice one! :)
@Heather, @Sarah Pearson, @David Powers King,
thanks a million for your kind words!!
Interesting entry! I'm intrigued to know what happened between the characters before to cause that kind of response.
Interesting dialogue. Definitely wondering what happened to cause that response. Good job.
Love the sense of mystery surrounding these two ... they definitely had a major "fall out" ... wonder what it was all about ?
My entry at no.#185
Great job! It was very interesting and intriguing and it makes me wonder what happened before this scene.
