Change -- Poem

If change be the fact of life,

then why in my life is boredom?

The same way it heads, like knife

does, to a man’s doom.

When strength is in me, why I fail

& think of faults that aren’t in me.

Like the wild grass of the woods,

For a change, why not my life be?

Tired I am to plan & engage,

bored I am to eat & sleep,

thirsty I am for a better change,

which never comes to my lap.

I did pray & I did try to begin,

with something new for a change.

I did get the password to login,

among others for a life I love of change.

Can't Be Explained

Hello Everyone,

This post is for the Poets United's Thursday Think Tank #44. We are supposed to write a poem on something viz our first experience at something, like first date, first kiss, ... 


I am gonna post my first poem for this concept here:

Can’t be explained to every Tom, Dick & Harry

What the need is of a girl friend

the source of man’s pride & what the hurry

is in finding a lawyer, even as a child.

Can’t be explained, can’t be explained

why in my hurry, to become an adult

why can’t I cherish childhood as a child

thus why do I, stones at myself pelt

Can’t be explained to every Tom, Dick & Harry

why does a man know, funny it is to lose health

in a hurry to earn, remind him not, how funny

that to restore his health, lost, is his wealth.

Can’t be explained, can’t be explained

how wonderful, the love towards mother land is

& the reason for supreme sacrifices, can’t be explained

why at borders, does the love stop, built with own hands of theirs.
