Today’s life

Unknown if men are from lord of war.
Young men, to be true, wage wars
for the fancy of swords, powder & horses
alike, but not for the want of fame or horses.


Unknown if women are from Venus.
To be true, beauty is not theirs,
its in men, theirs only mate
as can’t be learnt by them, to their fate.


Hearts of men, on which the nations
fate hangs, desperately need companions
to be comforted, unlike money, that brings
common needs in the form of material things.


Modern life is a world of ready wealth,
with spontaneous wisdom breathed by health.
Lost are true friends, who today only, exist in prose
& can’t between them, stand the differences which arose.

My Life

Mine be a life in the woods,
where glow worm maketh the light.
With no life beyond the merry sound,
of dark & solemn air, of a summer’s night.


Allowed to learn to bend the arms,
to earth, where the springs of life
emerge, as is known to goats & cows,
which don’t read the dull & endless strife.


With power to react with self,
away from terrible beckoning of technology.
Far from the race for power & pelf,
with time to study nature & theology.


Sure, my dreams are put aside.
In this poor life, full of care
& are forgotten to fade
away with no time to stare

How Do I Tell You??

How do I tell you, walking in your shoe

I do feel faithless, unlike the time when I was a kid.

I do wanna tell you, that I should move

on with my life, the way, one day, you did. 

You never allow me to fall down.

Then how do I learn to fall gracefully?

How do I learn to deal with mean

unless I try at something, Oh dad! Willingly.

Every step that I take

out of your way, to lighten my heart

to you, is simply, just another mistake
taking you away, from me, further apart.

I shall find out the right way one day

& yet, till then, sing aloud

“How do I tell you, walking in your way

Well , I was scanning my old note books the other day and found this one. I jolted it down after listening to some song somewhere. Probably from high school musical or something like that. I don't remember exactly. I dunno whether this is the lyric directly or I added something to it. Just enjoy

Can't be explained

Can’t be explained to every Tom, Dick & Harry

What the need is of a girl friend

the source of man’s pride & what the hurry

is in finding a lawyer, even as a child.

Can’t be explained, can’t be explained

why in my hurry, to become an adult

why can’t I cherish childhood as a child

thus why do I, stones at myself pelt

Can’t be explained to every Tom, Dick & Harry

why does a man know, funny it is to lose health

in a hurry to earn, remind him not, how funny

that to restore his health, lost, is his wealth.

Can’t be explained, can’t be explained

how wonderful, the love towards mother land is

& the reason for supreme sacrifices, can’t be explained

why at borders, does the love stop, built with own hands of theirs.
