Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
Because my books are an imaginative and unique blend of adventure and love story with a sci fi twist and they’ll make you think.

What inspired you to want to become a writer?
I grew up on a farm in an isolated area. There were very few books available and the ones I did read were like a bit of magic taking me to all these wonderful places. When I was 10 we moved to the city and I discovered the bookmobile. That was heaven. That’s when I first wanted to make a bit of that magic myself.

If you were a super hero what would your kryptonite be?
Chocolate!

Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
Reading reviews from strangers and knowing that they enjoyed what I wrote.

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
I’ve written three books and published the first two. Book four is a work in progress and will have the happy ever after ending unless the story gets away on me again.

What's one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Join a critiquing group and get a writing partner.  My partner and I critique and copyedit for each other. I wouldn’t have gotten to the published stage without her.

How did you know you should become an author?
I told myself stories in bed when I suffered from insomnia. They didn’t help me get to sleep, but eventually I found that I had to write the story down.

In your wildest dreams, which author would you love to co-author a book with?
Hum, I hadn’t ever thought of this. On reflection, I don’t think I would want to co-author a book. I want my book to be mine.
