Mouse and SeaGull

Hello Everyone,

I earlier posted a cool excerpt from Winners Stand Alone by Paulo Coelho the other day. I simply am loving it, for it is related to reality of the world of fame and power. I am sure, every aspiring author / artist must go through this book. Here is another excerpt from the book, Just have a look at it:

Seagull
A seagull was flying over a beach, when it saw a mouse. It flew down and asked the mouse:
“Where are your wings?”

Each animal speaks its own language, and so the mouse didn’t understand the question, but stared at the two strange, large things attached to the other creature’s body.
“It must have some illness,” thought the mouse.

The seagull noticed the mouse staring at its wings and thought:
“Poor thing. It must have been attacked by monsters that left it deaf and took away its wings.”

Feeling sorry for the mouse, the seagull picked it up in its beak and took it for a ride in the skies. “It’s probably homesick,” the seagull thought while they were flying. Then, very carefully, it deposited the mouse once more on the ground.

For some months afterward, the mouse was sunk in gloom; it had known the heights and seen a vast and beautiful world. However, in time, it grew accustomed to being just a mouse again and came to believe that the miracle that had occurred in its life was nothing but a dream.

Hope you guys loved it. I too am like that mouse, though no seagull can lift me up I weight about 200 pounds in all Ha Ha, I too saw the dreams of becoming great author, great blogger, rich, famous, having the world at my feet and lot more!!!

I didn't realize the dreams yet, but my lethargic attitude many a times tells me, to start getting accustomed to being just a mouse again, to tell myself, that I am not the next J. K. Rowling / Amanda Hocking and that I should just go back to my day job.

Whatever, I still wanna write, still wanna read and still wanna enjoy. My life, My wish right?? But surely one day, I will fly high like a eagle, and everyone around me (read including you)shall envy me!! Ha Ha!!!

How does your world look like?? From the heights? How beautiful it is? What makes it so beautiful?

with warm regards

Moral of the story? Don't decide what someone needs without asking or you could just make their situation worse!

That's some story on psychology!!

It looks like the mouse too can behave like humans .. believing what they want and not what the facts are!!!
